Top 10 Energy Sources of the Future

These are ten most promising alternative energy sources of tomorrow.

It’s a really exciting time to be alive. We have a front row seat to the only known transformation of a world powered by dirty fossil fuels, to a planet that gets its energy from renewable, clean sources. It’s happening just once, right now.

10 Key Facts About Nuclear Fusion

It’s not in the papers but a silent revolution is moving across the world. Renewable energy is becoming cheaper than from fossil fuels. It means that progressively the choice for wind and solar energy is no longer an ethical one but an economic one. And this will speed up the transfer to renewable energy.

In countries like Brazil, Australia, Chile and parts of the United States people consider renewable energy because of financial reasons. The price of solar and wind energy will continue to drop and in more countries renewable energy will occur.

A surprising newcomer on the market is Morocco, where the government expects that in 2020 more than 40 percent of the energy could come from solar energy.

Cool video add a wind power

  7. ConceptWiseAsia CWA TV says:

Thank you yet again for a wonderfully informative video. More please. 🙂

  8. Joy Mukherjee says:

Fantastic video, really awesome video. These alternative sources of energy really bring hope to all of us for a future civilization and progress. Fantastic video amazing video. All should watch and appreciate.

  9. Eva Staňková says:

I'm really grateful for this excellent source of technical English. I'm using it with my university studets in English language seminars. Thanks. Eva Stankova, Czech Republic

  10. Ratkill9000 says:

The problem with salt reactors is they make fissile materials. And securing them would be a huge obstacle.

  11. ROSOLEN says:

no offense but youve got to be cruel to be kind, this video is so fricken boring

  12. Iz Meorbin says:

Number 1 should be, because it IS, the Thorium Reactor. Limitless supply of fuel, intrinsically safe, it just needs some development which requires investment – which will make those rich who'll do it.
    Simple really.

  13. Ar Mod says:

Can’t they make something like an amplifier that focuses all the light in one place then you’ll be able to collect the power on earth I know it’s not going to be as effective but it’s going to be much cheaper

  14. DRAGOS DANIEL says:

A perpetual motion from magnetic forces will be the cheapest way to produce of electricity it's working principals tesla told everyone pls wake up ppl

  15. Cristena Borg says:

    this is so boring

  16. dlwatib says:

No, we're not going to be getting our energy from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 or 10. Thumbs down. We're going to be getting our energy from solar (land and water based), wind (land and water based), wave, tidal, geothermal and hydro.

  17. zyzygie says:

Highly disruptive technologies such as storing energy in liquid form in ammonia can arguably revolutionise the energy economy.

As mentioned, there are already technologies for electricity generation such as tidal, geothermal, solar and wind which have been proven. However the atmospheric vortex engine can potentially outperform all of these (see ).
Fusion energy also looks prospective for becoming commercial within the next decade or so (see )
The suppression of atmospheric convection by aerosols of the atmospheric brown cloud are a critical factor in global warming.
The first steps in addressing climate change are arguably to
    1) immediately stop deforestation and
    2) enhance convection within the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone. The vortex engine can do this.

  18. Leslie Guarino says:

Your house may be using a lot of energy, but what process can you follow to pay these bills without needing to move out in a couple of months. Energy Star stated that energy is consumed mostly by heaters and coolers at home. Try generating your own power and save on energy bills through the generating power process “boma fetching unique” (Google it).

  19. Rafael Nery Mendonca says:

Why dont the EMIRATES build steam energy and solar mir panel

  20. Douglas Pollock says:

Another lesftist propaganda. GREEN ENERGY IS UNSUSTAINABLE unless we kill billions of people. Today the UN is doing a big job by generating two holocausts per year wasting trillions of dollars on its fake and failed climate models at the expense of the poorest of the world. AND NOBODY CARES! What a fraud. I'm a Chilean engineer, I do live in Chile and I know the truth about solar energy in Atacama desert with this marxist government and comunist President Bachelet. Just one hint: guess why Sun Power Company put on sale its solar plant on March this year months before starting operations. You may laugh with this: this solar plant will supply the 42% of Santiago's subway electricity demand, pioneer project in the whole world AT OUR EXPENSE. I'll just wait and see what happens when it's cloudy or it's at night.

  21. Embryophagist says:

subsidies =/= free market. these clowns dont know a thing about anything other than being alarmist useful idiots for a one world communist government, which is inadvertent, so they pretty much know nothing.

  22. ZEBRUH FPV says:

first seconds of this video "World Leaders" term was used, illuminati lol, conspiracy theory etc etc etc

  23. Bct Member says:

If there is some kind of energy transition going on why is it year over year more and more FF is burned?

  24. Michael Gfroerer says:

Good news, but you need better sources than Deutsche Bank (which was involved in a $10 BILLION fraud scheme), CitiBank (which was fined $700 MILLION for "illegal credit card practices") and Dubai-with it's desire for pharonic buildings and artificial islands. If Dubai is interested in solar why don't they just have solar on home rooftops, so money isn't spent on infrastructure and lines? The big problem with solar is the lack of political interest and conflicts of interest politicians have with the fossil fuel industries. Privatized power corporations have been extremely uncooperative with customers-making home-energy-production not worth the effort.

  25. John Ehmer says:

Ontario is charging between 58 cents to 84 cents per khw hour for solar, so something is a miss

  26. KappaW says:

are Chinese honestly so deluded that they think a pseudo dictatorship is superior to western democracy?

  27. brinbrin62 62200 says:

LOL. COP21, what a scam ! Nobody is ready to do anything about climate change as long as their wealth is concerned. We are dead. You and your children (and me and my two daughters) are living-deads. IT IS TOO LATE.

  28. Robert Palmore says:

I don't feel that anything should be subsidized by the government. The free market should determine if a technology is viable. Getting new technology launched would be the bread and butter of investors. There are thousands of windmills that were erected under government subsidy. Now that the subsidy is ending soon. The wind energy group are lobbying to continue the subsidy. Why should I pay for electricity twice. Through my taxes and then from the electricity company.

  29. Tomek_PL says:

    26:51 beech please… DONT

  30. hfyaer says:

The man at 34:30 better invest in wind turbine…

  31. hfyaer says:

If you cover a sufficient surface of desert soil with solar panels… Does it stop being a desert? They should be cautious not creating a microclimate. Real plants could become a problem for solar ones.

  32. DormantIdeas NIQ says:

WIND TURBINES have to go… they are noisy, and kill 1000s of birds!!!

  33. J.F. Braun says:

An interesting documentary, but it presents a radically simplified picture of the economics of renewables.
Don‘t take everything at face-value mentioned here!

  34. allgoo19 says:

    vpro documentary says:
"Great idea. Did you look up if it already exist?"
I did and came up with nothing.
    That's why I asked.

    Have you?

  35. allgoo19 says:

Why don't they make solar panels that replaces the roof?

It will save the cost of installing the roof, won't it?

  36. Larkin Santoyo says:

This was very straight forward and informative. A bit bias but good;), thank you for sharing. It motivates more and more to continue studying renewable energy and natural resources.

  37. loisplane says:

    From gath?

  38. Leslie Guarino says:

As electricity costs rise over time, finding ways to cut your electric bill and generate your own power is significantly essential. Now, you could save power and lower costs with producing power method “boma fetching unique” (Google it).
