This turbine can harvest green energy slow moving water

A Canadian company has designed a water turbine which can harvest energy in slow moving water.

“Waterotor” can work in currents as slow as 2 mph which means it could be used in almost any river, canal, or ocean current.

The company believe that “Waterotor” could be the solution for many of the world’s 1.3 billion people that live without electricity.

You can make inquiries with the company via their website regarding cost and shipping.

I think this could actually have some useful applications. For instance behind the weed screen on an inland drainage pump system to recover some of the power lost while pumping.

0:04 Watch that turning screws and parts = perfect to capture any rubbish(plastic bag) or hair algae in water. it will stop moving very fast in algae water or little rubbish ie plastic bag.

kill the people.. by dropping atomic bomb….let the atomic war happen. then population will automatically reduced

  11. REICH TANGLE says:

I see many comments about the population causing a disaster, with advancing technology we can create homes on earth where we could not before and even if we have more than 7 billion people on earth we only inhabit 60 and the worlds land mass and we have plenary of food thanks to growing advances, in 1975 a type of wheat was created that could resist many distinct problems that normal wheat couldn’t achieve, so our true main problems are pollution and being able to have sustained energy that we can have for decades.

  12. Lane Gaspar says:

Say goodbye to high utility bill. You can make your own power with producing power technique “boma fetching unique” (Google it), and that means you are saved from paying high electric bills. With some easy tricks and minor adjustments to the way you operate your home appliances, you could drive your energy costs down.

It is common for a lot of families to stare dejectedly at $200, $300, $400, or even $500 in power bills each month. There are occasions when even a rich family can`t seem to afford amounts like this for the approaching months. This is a producing power method “boma fetching unique” (Google it) to reduce your electricity bill and generate your own power.

I'm taking a training course in solar panel installation, repair and maintenance. My instructor recommended this book [link here >>> ] as an excellent resource along with the course. I'm finding it invaluable. By buying it through Amazon, I saved considerable money and received it very quickly.

Thanks for the Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about – Schallingora Computer Reconstruction Scheme (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great exclusive guide for saving money using this smart solar power trick minus the headache [link here>>> ]. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my m8 finally got amazing success with it.

  19. Kurt Conner says:

I am taking a course at the community college and use this book which is really excellent. If you are getting to Solar Energy, this [link here >>> ] book is a must.

  20. Just Jack says:

Just stick some thermoelectric peltiers in an array underground where it's hot and pipe in some ocean water or even ice water from the poles. 24/7 power that is practically unlimited.

  21. Eirik Olsnes says:

Love how a breakthrough in fusion energy is promptly followed by "power wanking"..(reinvented Casio kinetic?)

Is that John Oliver depicted in the animation?

  22. BasBarraclough says:

As a nation, Britain seems committed to increasing Cycle-ways and walking tracks. It ALL these were surfaced with the French style roadway surfaces, A: Wear and tear would be drastically reduced. And B: the necessary infrastructure taken out of harms way from road accidents. Also, I can't help thinking of all the hundreds of thousands of miles of urban and suburban pavements in ALMOST EVERY country, where such panels could be laid FAR less expensively than on our busy roads.

THEN. Anaerobic Digesters: All even moderately densely occupied areas have sewerage mains, leading to a sewage works. ? How much 'greenhouse gas' are they releasing un-harvested into the atmosphere? Could THAT source of potential energy be captured? Also, as renewal / expansion works are undertaken, couldn't these 'Digesters' be installed then?

  23. Tim Laursen says:

Pretty much all of these inventions are less efficient than current technology. If I have money to invest in an energy solution, then why would I not want to optimize the total amount of energy that I can get for my investment?

Hahahahaa the wank band killed me
