This is an unofficial explainer video I created for a college project. I decided to gear it toward The assets went from Adobe Illustrator to After Effects. This animation explains the different types of energy such as, fossil fuels, biomass, nuclear and renewables.

  23. Solveig Sokcanic says:

Good on ELON MUSK for standing up to our corrupt government that works only for oil, gas and coal companies & the US military industrial complex that controls our weather with toxic chemicals and nano particles using HAARP TECHNOLOGY to cover up the damage caused by industrial pollution!! Thumbs up & all the best to ELON!!

  24. mark krul says:

There is one big component to green energy succeeding that they aren't talking about, and that is that green energy's success depends on de-industrialization.  If your country no longer produces anything and has very little industry then of course green energy will meet the power needs.   And let me say something about industry…no industry means no jobs…no jobs means no money , and no money means no more detached houses, cars ,towns, suburbs or personal property. In other words the collapse of the first world into third world standards of living.

  25. oyinbo peppe says:

What is wrong with Anglo Countries, they are so backward.

  26. hendrsb33 says:

11:16 Is Elon on the verge of weeping? He looks like the news kind of hit him hard.

  27. NP Barroso says:

A wind power plant using 6 (six) turbines with a vertical axis and concentrating all mechanical energy in one (1) single output shaft of the wind generator. All this process of transfer of mechanical energy without using any conventional mechanism.

  28. Linzie Rogers says:

Capitalism dictates these kinds of outcomes. Politics reinforces it. The power companies have known about solar for decades. So why didn't they start using it? The answer? Cost of installation and time for recovery of ROI. So they mock Elon Musk and his idea for providing energy. Conversely the average person is so beleaguered in debt he or she can hardly keep their head above water. Add in their belief in politicians and political parties you have what you are witnessing.

  29. Moey D says:

Looks like Musk started to get teary when told about out power poverty. Man has a heart.

  30. Titus says:

  37. l1t7l3ph0o7 says:

This piece can't possibly be factually accurate, notice how they could only find one elderly couple so impoverished to interview?

  38. Diedert Spijkerboer says:

Simple fact: air conditioning is needed most when the sun shines the most.
This makes solar so obviously the right choice for Australia. I don't get who so few people install it on their roofs, nor why the government is not incentivising it and making power companies get compatible with a lot of home PV installations.

  39. Kevin R. Benoit says:

I have a Degree in Renewable Energy and this book [link here>>> ] was required for the Solar Energy class. It is easy to read with good explanations. I would recommend to anyone.

  40. g f says:

I see! 1000 million Australian dollars in just Lithium exports. Is that not enough to give everyone in Aus their own Solar PV? You don't need electric battery storage if one was to slightly change how one lives. How many households in Aus?
